K, this is probably an easy answer, but how do I enable the GT-Nextgen?
I've installed and can navigate to those pages with the new urls, but how do I get the forums to link to those pages, rather than the http://mysite.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=26&sid=2d4067d6bb50a681e9c37ebb8c812acf urls?

Do you have a .htacess file as well? Did you make the changes to mainfile.php to look for GT NextGen?

I did, but this doesn't change the forum links....
I want to be able to view the forums in the .htm files rather than the convoluted string.

Post your .htaccess file here - also, verify that you have a GoogleTap directory with the GT-Modulename files in there..

Yes they are in there, and I can access the files directly if I know the URL ie. http://www.mysite.com/ftopict-82.html works, but the forums don't link to those URLS.. how do I get it to work? Aieee.

from what I know I did... what would changing the header do to change what the links are in the forums module?. Wouldn't it have to be a change in the actual module?.
