Hi all,
I've downgraded from PHP-Nuke 7.8 back to 7.6 patched, but still appear to have no facility to put external urls in my messages. The html is stripped out leaving "<a href=""></a>". I've checked config.php to ensure the allowable html code is correct, and it is.
Are there any other files that control the HTML filtering in 7.6 specifically?
Thanx in advance. |

I downgraded because almost everything that used to work in 7.4 didn't in 7.8. Almost every other resource recommended downgrading until the bugs with 7.8 and 7.9 were fully resolved. But it appears that simply downgrading the db and going back to the patched version of 7.6 isn't a simple answer either. |

Thanx Evaders, I'd be happy to test anything you have with regards to a fix. My only real issue is being able to embed links and html back into Blocks, Messages and the Home Page.
Thanks fgor your willingness to help out. |

Is it already available?
Same problem here on a clean 7.6+3.2 installation |

*bump* Is it available?
And why oh why, can't we have one site for this stuff? PHPNuke is run so disorganizedly.
If I have to pay $100 a year for this darn thing, I expect a bit more organized an effort from Mr. Burzi. What's his salary? Maybe I could hire him and force him to work on this.... is this his side-job or something?! |

FB gets your free money for his untested software.
As businesses go, PHPNuke is lousy. As he states in the documentation, there is no support or warranty for using it. In fact, he shut down his own forums so others had to go to other sites for support. But because it is open-source and very popular, others in the Nuke community will step in to do what FB doesn't.

For the test 3.2 packages on my site, just tell me what username you used and I will give you access to the test sites and downloads |
