DeepBlue-Help!-Can't change Colors

Hello,

I am unable to change the colors in my theme.php for Deepblue...if I make one change to any of the background colors, index.php and admin.php come back with only bgcolor4 - in other words, my whole screen is only dark blue...This should be a simple thing and I can't figure it out. Any help would be appreciated! It doesn't matter which background color I change - my whole screen either appears dark blue or white with any change. Confused

This happens even if I change each of them individually in the theme.php

This is the code:

$bgcolor1 = "#ffffff";
$bgcolor2 = "#9cbee6";
$bgcolor3 = "#d3e2ea";
$bgcolor4 = "#0E3259";
$textcolor1 = "#000000";
$textcolor2 = "#000000";

If I change any one of these all I get is a dark blue screen...if I change any color in the body of the theme.php, I get a white screen.

I installed phpnuke (7.6 I believe) with OSC2Nuke, but that should have nothing to do with this color problem.

I can, though, change the images...I am baffled.

Any help would be very much appreciated!

For anyone else that may have a similar problem - I installed 7.7 with patches and everything now works fine on changing themes.

i too have a color amended deepblue

suggest you use a text editer to see where the colors you mentioned are listed elsewhere
just text search theme directory

I know when i changed my colors (depending on what i changed) i may sometimes change one or more of the below

theme.php
stlye/style.css
forums/forums.css
forums/overall_header
