I created a module on my website that has several links to video files. Originally, I stored the video files (mostly mpeg2, some .wmv) outside of the nuke path and when a visitor clicked on the link under the video module, the IE download dialog appeared with no problem, and the streaming files played in media player.

However, I wanted to keep the video files accessible to registered members only. So I moved them to a separate file under /modules/video/video_files/xxxxxxx.mpg.

Edited: removed site link

Now, when I click on a link for an mpeg file, I get a new window but no download dialog. However, the streaming .wmv files play with no problem in medial player.

Any help is appreciated. I've tried tweaking windows settings and media player settings to no avail. I think it has something to do with storing the files under the nuke modules path. Any ideas on how I can make this work?

Thanks in advance.

JB

Update: I'm thinking this is a win XP/IE6 problem and not a modules issue. Just tried accessing video files from win2k/IE5.5 machine and I'm able to download the files.
