google adsense problem

hi i have a google adsense block on my site which i am trying to incorporate, trouble is it aint taking any notice of the meta tags in the meta.php file is there a workaround for this.

Google/Google Adsense does not follow your meta tags, they follow your site content and thats how they show ads. Smile

oh right well how come my sites based on football, with no web design content, and all the google ads show up adverts for web design?

all i want to do is get rid of these damn design ads.

You will need to login to the Adsense to set what ads to display, that's all.

any chance of telling where i do this on adsense?

As ive three other sites with adsense on that are all different content ,and all work okay

its just this one with phpnuke Mad

keep in mind that the google adsense bot, will not crawl the pages for members only, so there are good chances it will feed you crappy Ads....
If most of your phpnuke site is for members only, you gonna be disappointed.

I believe you are really at the mercy of the google search engine, and what it deems as the overall topic of your site.

I've seen it butcher many a site.

You just have to have a clear topic.

Also!!! Be careful with your anchor text!! It's one of the biggest ways google judges the content of your site.
