Well i can c you didnt read my 2 messages poopertropper i said i dont think the nukevideo 2.0 module is worth $30 i would rather pay that money to someone to make a better module that can be sold for $10 or less to the normal users...
The way i think is that i preffer to make just $3 in each item sold and sell houndreds than selling only 10 or 20 and make $10 in each at the end of the day i dont like to take the money of normal people that maybe wants just to make a lil nukevido page for personal purposes so as i said i think is too expensive that module and not really worth the money... i must say i am not dizzin his work is good for him and congrats for his proyect but i dont share the same likes and is not really a nice module for my like. if there is someone that would be wiling to make a module and get paid some money for it and well just write to me and we'll talk about it.. my email is in my last post. |

I gotta admit I too woulda rather paid $10 than $30 but decided I wanted to make it a fairly central module in my gurgler.com site. So I relented and bought it and I gotta admit it is a kickass module and the module site gives great support.
Lets face it there are no working video modules for nuke. I know I spent months looking. I got 4n working but couldn't add more than the default cats without doing it thru phpadmin which was long winded.
I can relate to not wanting to pay the $$$s, but this module (for me) proved sometimes paying was justified. |

I would like to say that V4 of my HTTP Video Stream script has been released for nuke.
If you want to know all the features then take a look at the screenshots at:
http://www.steezmatic-designs.com/screenshots/HTTP_Video_Stream/
It can be downloaded from our site, registration required. And whats best is that it is FREE! |

That is a good module. Its a great alternative to those needing a video module.
ZeroKool why don't you post what your looking for? Maybe someone may be interested then. Unless it is private then feel free not to. |

Why are there new versions?
User requests a feature. If we feel it is needed we add it on. Usually if it is added on quick it means it is a needed/highly demanded feature ex. batch adding of videos for admin. Which a user brought up when he needed to add 500+ videos, plus we had a good number of people that request it before. If it is a high demand feature we usually try our best to add it on asap as it would make it easier for them. We haven't really released a new version based on bugs yet as there isn't too many however we are releasing one soon correcting some minor things, but feel free to browse our forums. I think our members would also say our module is definately not buggy. |

Well i guess i didnt look properly at this module " my bad" i was having a look at it today and well it does have the futures needed and it is actually good i think when i saw it as i was rushing didnt quite get the oportunity to see all its goods.. but well i am thinking in making the invest and buying it but i would like to know one thing... does the buyer has to pay for the upgraded module? or do u have some limited time to upgrades? or hows is it about that because if the buyer has the right to upgrade without any costs well that would be really great and i can just give you some tips to add more usefull things on it...
UPDATE*** one thing i just noticed that would be really good in your module would be that it should have the option to add the download link separately so the admin can add a zipped file or .rar for people to download better or to have under the link something like (right click and "save to" to save into your PC)
Other good feature would be to report a broken link and to be able to send the link of the page to a friend.
In the submit a video a separate link or submition field for the thumbnail of the video, I cant access the admin dont know why so in case you dont have that option in the admin area to put it aswell.
I also noticed that there is not signs that you can use the module in another language for example Spanish that is one of the biggest languages as english and chinesse. i tried this using the ?newlang=spanish in the index and then watching the module but it didnt make any changes in case you want i can translate it for you and just contact me at my msn papichulouk@hotmail.co.uk .
Another idea would be to put restrictions for registered users or admins or visits, also it could be linked with the nsn groups used by many.
Thats all i can think of right now but with these upgrades this module will worth every single cent.
PSD: contact me for the spanish tranlation i am colombian. |

ZeroKool our updates are currently free. Honestly there is no real rule on it just yet but as of now updates will stay free.
1. A link for a thumbnail of a video on a submission page is worthless in my opinion. A user end shouldn't have to make a thumbnail, the admin will have to. In the admin panel you can upload the thumbnail or even ftp the thumbnail and append it to the video. (You have to see the admin panel for yourself) (try deleting your cookies if that helps)
2. Report broken link doesn't seem useful either as all your videos stay on your own server. If you erase the video in the module, the video gets erased on your server.
3. We are not interested in integrating with any other mods as it creates issues in the future if the other mod fails or breaks.
4. The right click and save as message was previously on the page (I have to re add it on)
5. Restrictions on user visits can simply be enforced by using the module restriction feature in Nuke.
6. Currently we are not interested in expanding into other languages yet.
7. Send to a friend is fine.
If your needing the exact specs above I suggest you find a customized video module for your needs especially for NSN support. |

Ok if you can add the feature of send to a friend the link of the page for the video and report broken link i will go and acctualy buy the module now.. i insist in the report broken link why? because sometimes people will use other servers to host videos or will make direct links into video sources so it would be good. But well i get your point but i do insist.. And something for sure would be the send to a friend feature if you can assure to me that you will add this feature i will go buy it now the broken link doesnt really matter.. so what do you say?
UPDATE++
Well i paid for it already and downloaded it.. i hope u can work it to put the send to a friend option.
When i translate the module i send u the files if u want to use them and well i just ask for the credits in translating. Is up to you if you want to use the translation. |
