Hi,

Is it possible to STOP a topic from showing up in the topics module if there isn't any stories currently in that topic?

Thx

There are two ways you could approach this:

1. Edit the code in modules/Topics/index.php.

2. Don't create a new topic until you have something to put into it.

One will be easier than the other, depending on your situation.

Thx Oaklid,

I am looking to edit (am already doing so!!) the topics/index.php file - to act as a new style of NEWS module.

Have a look at:

http://www.deepingsraftrace.com/html/modules.php?name=Topics

At the bottom you will see that the topic contains no news but still displays the topic.

Ideally I would like to have admin control over it to pick which topics to show - but I can only hack not code Sad

Thx
