I've resisted upgrading my ancient 4.4 Nuke installation because I'd heavily hacked the code, and also because it's a heavily-trafficked site.

I finally feel that I can no longer avoid upgrading. My problem is that I need take the old (phpbb 1.x) forums (tens of thousands of topics, a couple hundred thousands posts) with me to the 7.9 Nuke installation.

I can't find any pre-canned upgrade scripts and my knowledge of MYSQL isn't sound enough for me to be confident to alter the forum tables on my own.

Can anyone here offer me help, or pointers, or links to pre-canned upgrade scripts that I may have overlooked?

Thanks in advance.

Well the phpNuke upgrade scripts should handle the phpNuke site itself. The forums.. I don't think it will. Your best bet is to try and see if there's a phpBB 1 to phpBB 2 converter
