Hi,
I am looking to create an area that will be accessible only for clients of my business. I want the clients to be able to view timesheets, descriptions of work completed, and some other basic information. I was wondering if there would be anything better to use than phpnuke, or if you think using phpnuke for such a project would be overkill. Any thoughts or information would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. - I didn't really know where this topic should fit into the categories of the forum.

Thanks!
Chris

Well, since most of us use phpnuke of course we will say it's the best so far. But one think i would like to add here that, phpnuke or postnuke is very easy to customize and organize. These both CMS system have great supports. It will save you money and time for your business. Only thing you have to do is find the right scripts/mod for your business or creat it by urself and you are ready to go.

Thank You. Smile

Thanks for the info! I was also wanting to make sure that using PHPNUKE would allow me to customize the site for each individual client. As in, Client1 logs in and sees only info available for Client1, same thing for each other client. I would also like to have general areas that all clients can access. I just wanted to make sure that this can be done through PHPNUKE. Thanks!
Chris

There's no built-in support for timesheets and such, but perhaps there are addons you could use. I know NSN has some kind of projects mod

I suggest checking out http://www.opensourcecms.com and seeing what's out there that may fit your needs
