I'm sorry if this is listed somewhere, I've read through quite a few posts now that I thought might have something to do with this, and basically just confused myself Sad

Anyway, I have a forum running phpbb 2.0.17 right now, with quite a few users, posts, and some mods installed on it. I also just installed PHP Nuke 7.9. PHPNuke 7.9 has one mysql database, and phpbb 2.0.17 has its own seperate database...

How would I go about moving my current phpbb over into the PHPNuke one, so its all on one nice integrated site in one nice integrated database (Two seperate databases would be fine still too though, if that makes it easier)? Is it even possible with those two versions? Most of the posts I see are regarding older versions, and I really dont want to just try something out without knowing for sure and break my current BB Sad

If it'd be easier, I'd definitely be willing to install a older version of PHPNuke, then do whatever is needed to move the board over and upgrade later...

Edit: One other thing.... If I do use bb to nuke, will it keep my current PHPBB database in tact just incase I really screw something up, so I have my old board still working as I tinker around with phpnuke and getting my board moved over there? Also, for bbtonuke...the couple versions I've downloaded seem to be upgrade files to upgrade previous versions. Is there a main download that has instructions for it? Sorry I'm really new to all of this Sad

Thanks for any suggestions/help ! Smile

BBToNuke is some-what a misnomer - it is the ported phpBB files to work in phpNuke. It is not a phpBB to phpNuke script itself

What you want is the phpBB to phpNuke database conversion script available from http://www.nukeresources.com
I don't know if it will work with 2.0.17 or not
