My site is gone forever!

Im very sad today Crying or Very sad

I've been working on my site for 2 years now, and this morning when i checked my mail i got a mail from my hosting company. They told me this:

Datacorridor has gone out of business before we could migrate your site from their servers.

I don't even have a backup of my site.

IM GOING TO SUE THEM ALL!!!!! Exclamation

They could have atleast giving me a warning so i could take a backup in the first place!!!!

DATACORRIDOR OR RIO HOSTING, DONT HOST FROM THEM!!!!

oo thats sad.. Sad

My previous host was bad too(hostdeal.com- almost 30% downtime) , so i moved my site to godaddy and i trust them 100% cuz they are no#1 Smile

Looks like they went bankrupt. In the US judicial system, that's the same as if a person died. Basically, any chance of getting anything from them is long gone. Even though the owner of the company may have pocketed millions.

That's why we need bankruptcy reform. Seriously.

You can't sue anyone. He's declared the corporation bankrupt. Took his nice millions, and is probably building up a new webhosting corporation to try the whole stunt all over again with.

Datacorridor.com
Notice: This domain name expired on 12/14/05 and is pending renewal or deletion

It is parked with Godaddy now, which means he bought it from them.
I bet they were a reseller.

Reselling webhosting services at a higher price. For shame.

Then to top off the humiliation, ran off with their money early.

Ouch. Good luck w/o a backup.
If you have content you want to retrieve, try the Internet Archives and see if its saved there. At least you'll have something

Isn't there an addon that automaticly backup your phpnuke database everyday/weekly? Question

I read it in some forum but i can't remember it now.

Does it still work well? Looks like the last release was a year ago. Not that the core db interface has changed all that much TMK, but it never hurts to ask!
