I can't add a moderator .I go to forum , user permission , and select a user .The user is in the moderator group, and then I select a forum to be "is moderated" . I click on submit , it says that Permissions have been updated , and when I go back to user permission , the forum selected is still "not moderated" . So when I click submit , it does not save ... why is this ? I searched the forum for answers , but I can't manage to solve this . I have php 5.9 with phpbb 2.0.17 Please try to help me .
I already tryed the fix script but dosen't work Sad....

I had this problem too!
I just kept doing it until it worked, took a few attempts I think but worked in the end. Also it may be your cookies not catching up.

I use Nuke 7.7 with all the updates for security including 2.0.19 and here is the error message I get:

SQL Error : 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ') AND aa.group_id = ug.group_id AND aa.auth_mod = 1

SELECT ug.user_id, COUNT(auth_mod) AS is_auth_mod FROM nuke_bbauth_access aa, nuke_bbuser_group ug WHERE ug.user_id IN () AND aa.group_id = ug.group_id AND aa.auth_mod = 1 GROUP BY ug.user_id

Line : 530
File : admin_ug_auth.php

This doesn't look like a cookie problem. HELP!

There is not 2.0.19 yet.
Probably, 2.0.18, I think.
Group assignment and DB leaking are known as mis-upgrading result. If your php-nuke 7.7, then your first bb2nuke was 2.0.15 (or 14). Double check all upgrade DB fields to 2.0.18.

eg, 2.0.14 --> 2.0.15 --> 2.0.16 --> 2.0.17 --> 2.0.18 (only DBs)

Then, overwrite 2.0.18 np by chatserv and evaders99.

I'm sorry, but I honestly don't have a clue what everything after the first two lines of your post means, other than the last line.

I dutifully upgrade each time a new release comes out, the latest was 2.0.19 and after doing that upgrade, the problems started.

Well phpBB 2.0.19 hasn't been released. I assume you mean 2.0.18

Did you use the BBToNuke packages from http://nukeresources.com ?
Please try the Fix Group Script - http://www.nukecops.com/postt1.html

I'm running 7.8, just installed Evader's Patched Nuke Core upgrades, and ran the script, and it's working now. I'm not sure why it's not working for you Raviwikey; sorry bud. Sad
