Sorry I promise I have looked for the requests part of the site but either Im blind or its well hidden...

What Im looking for is an add on that will ... when a user logs in... search their system for any media playing and announce it under their avatar, post counts, location etc...

Rather like msn messenger does with the little headphones...

Does this exsist or does anyone know how MSN messenger does it and if the code could be shoved in the profile of users on nuke?

Sounds like you need a custom solution for that, probably some kind of ActiveX control. This isn't something you can really do with just PHP / HTML
