This is weird.

I've been using various Nuke versions on 5 sites since v5.6... ...and just installed 7.8 (with Security patches) today and getting this exact same problem. Never had this prob before!

(Admit that the 7.8patched install is a one-click install my hosting service offers, but never had any probs with this method before)

Ahh... some further searching and this seems to be a well discussed problem
known as the admin loop.

Good thread here about possible solutions...

Sounds like it could be a cookie problem. Delete your (nuke related)cookies and try to log in again.

OR As I have noticed lately many cheeper web services are disabling or doing someting that wont let you use a program that uses htaccess files. Go to you admin folder and rename your htaccess files somthing like my.htaccess or somting and try to log on again. Also you must rename the htaccess file that is in the root dir also.

If login goes ok after renaming the htaccess files then you need a better web space provider.

And some just simply wont run any nukes!
