I need to add more options to CCart. Anyone who uses CCart may be aware that it has $opta-$optn and $optiona-$optionn. I am looking to add $opta-$optaz, $optiona-$optionaz, and $optna-$optnaz. I was able to add these options just fine to the Admin files, however when I add them to the index file, I get this error:
Quote:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /modules/CCart/index.php on line 1975

Has anyone else tried to create additional options in CCart? What sort of results did you get, and what files did you have to edit?

Hm... as long as I tested, ccart pro is the most compact and well-suited version of shoping cart program for phpnuke. osCommerce and others are too big and need too many changes.

Hey, LunaFaye. Did you ask guitar guy in his dev. site? I think he has a solution which you posted. Long time ago, I contacted with him to tweak consistent DB management of CCart pro. After then, I have not talked with him. Just ask him first. He is a super-duper kind guy.

Yes, I did. Unfortunately, they are no longer supporting CCart free version, as they have a new at cost module available. I considered buying the new one, but thought I would give a try to modifying the current one I have first, to see if I could get what I needed out of it. I thought the coding should be easy. I'm probably just missing something simple.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind when I look at my coding again. Smile

Oh, sorry to hear such bad news from guitar guy. However, I think ccart pro module is good enough to pay for his great work. That's really a compact and bug-proof version, which means ripened enough.

But, still now, the free versions (less version numbers) are available, as long as I know.
