I have an existing forum running phpbb 2.0.13 and want to integrate with the new site I am setting up running phpnuke 7.7.

Is this possible? I am looking for a script, or simple set of instructions as I am no php guru and don't want to get into editing a lot of code manually.

My site (and forum) are still both in developmental stages, I only have a dozen users at this point, but that number will grow quickly in the next 2 weeks. I need to come to a decision whether to force these 12 to re-register on all-new forums, or get a transfer done soon.

I am looking for any advice you can give...

Thanks!!

There is a phpBB to phpNuke database conversion script at http://www.nukeresources.com

I've been browsing these forums for last few days and tried just about everything that has been suggested.

Same ol' story I guess for all previous posts.

Have phpbb 2.0.17 and just install nuke 7.8. I've tried the script phpbb to nuke and even though the scripts says it runs ok, still doesn't populate my tables correctly in mysql. Nuke started off with 92 tables and now I'm up to 120+ tables. What I noticed is, nuke has nuke ext. and the phpbb has that extension. How can I populate the phpbb tables inside of the nuke tables? I'm really confused and eyes burning.
Do I have to upgrade the nuke to 2.0.17? It's says I'm running 2.0.14, but I've also been reading that that version doesn't matter it's the phpbb2 version. Confused ??

Ok..

I've applied the patch for 7.7 and the admin index of the forums says everything is up to date. Trying to use the nukesqlphpbb script and nothing is happening. Test looks fine and my tables from phpbb and nuke are in the same database (went from 91 to 120), but doens't seem to be merging the tables?

Well I noticed not to apply the 3.1 fix until you run the script, if you do, the import page just goes blank and doesn't tell you if there are errors or correct. So installed php-nuke again (7.7) and exported my phpbb, and then imported it into my new php-nuke. Then I ran the script and all went well but it didn't populate any of the nuke- tables. So now I have 91 nuke tables and roughly 29 phpbb tables withn the same database. Phpbb has data and the nuke doesn't? So I thought maybe the 3.1 patch would help, nope.

Anyone?

Well the Patched files only fix things in phpNuke. It shouldn't affect the database conversion.. probably something buggy there.

I ran the database conversion prior to the patch (tried both ways actually). I've installed php-nuke about 8x now and end up at the same spot. The site that is hosting our site www.true-core.org/forums is the current phpbb. www.true-core.org/php_nuke is the current site I'm trying to get up. Both databases are hosted at the same place and I have a teamcore_phpbb1 and a teamcore_nuke1 database. I've exported the phpbb1 and query it into my teamcore_nuke1 and ran the script and it says it worked. So at the bottome of the teamcore_nuke1 the tables are there form phpbb1 but they are not populating the upper half of the tables (nuke_bb). Am I missing something, is there a way that I can populate my new phpnuke 7.7 with my phpbb 2.0.17 data?

Well, exported my phpbb sql and the current nuke-bb and just edit the phpbb and replaced the phpbb with the nuke-bbxxx and for the most part everything works. Users don't work though? Even though I can see the user s in the members area can't login? Even if you create a new account still can't login?

It won't work because the users tables are different between phpBB and phpNuke
