I'm using the Karate theme that comes with PHPNuke 7.7 and the search field looks like code is visible. See ----> http://www.jamenashshs.qld.edu.au/

You are probably missing the language constant from your language file.
Go ahead and open languages/lang-english.php and add

Nope, it seems it's a bigger problem than that. The drop down menu doesn't work either.

From searching this forum I've learned that the theme has been updated. Unfortunately I can't find a link to the theme that I can download. Also, I'm "forbidden" from accessing the site of the person who created it. I don't know why..

Can anyone host a recent copy of the theme, Karate?
