Imagination Nuke closed after only 2 days from when I installed it.

This was an upgrade from Post nuke platinum.

Any one know what I should do?

This looks kind of bad!

I have a great new page but want to act fast with my backups,

Or can I deinstall SQL script and go plane Jane nuke?

Thanks, I'm getting kind of worried...

If you have a back-up of your original, why not just re-load?

Imagination Nuke has a tiny but serious trouble in license and credit issuing. 64bitguy, who is a good php-based news module developer, asked them to put credit & copyright sentenses. Imagination Nuke guys took away copyright sentenses even if they embedded 64bit guy's module. You can check this in nukeresources.com & raven's or bob Marion's site. I hope they are settled down very soon and the site will come up alive.

1: Have a glass of cold water (or beer) and calm yourself down.

2: Wait a day or to do findout whats going to happen with the distro instead of just removing everything.

3: Use any version of PHP-Nuke BUT 7.7 and 7.8 as there are some major (and from what it seems unfixable ) security holes.

Oh, yeah, Mesum. that's so good suggestion. Today, Pheonix got 112F around at 4:00 pm. I felt a lot thirsty. Wow, cold water was so good (beer was too much better!).

His page now reflects that it will be back in 48 hours while he reinstalls the offending modules at question.

I did make a demo page and installed 7.8 over it and it looks like its perfect.

Over all, when you commit to a custom distro.....

Lets say a year down the road, can you go back to stock nuke?

Mine did on a demo version.

I slapped down the 7.8 over the Imagination nuke and it runs great.

(I'm always having the beer BTW)

Wink

If 7.8 is working out great for you, what more you can ask for? I will be looking for your thead "HELP THEY HACKED MY SITE!!!!" soon. Smile

About your question regarding modded version of PHP-Nuke, yes, in most case you can return to base install of PHP-Nuke. PHP-Nuke's forks are different story.
