I installed php-nuke and think that it is great. I can not get the member registration to work, however. The profiles keep getting stuck in the "temporary" section of the database. They are stuck there because PHP isn't sending out emails to new members. They register and it says that registration was successful. They aren't getting any confirmation mailings to activate the account. The lost password mailings aren't working either. The screen always says the message has successfully been sent, but it never does. So obviously the mail feature is not working. Can somebody please help me?

I'm running into the same issue. I've tried registering with 4 different emails and I never get the confirmation email. I checked the db and it still shows the 4 different attempts in the temporary section.

How do I fix this?

I should add that I run my own server, I have two other nuke boards on my server for two other sites I run, and both are allowing registration.. so I don't know what could be holding the other one up. I don't have it set for smtp. I am just letting it use the web feature like the others are.

Fellas,
You need to refer to your php.ini file.

Find the [mail function] section and make sure the:

mail from section is uncommented.
