When user on my PHP-Nuke 6.5 try to access the phpbb forum private messages, they get an error:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/virtual/site13/fst/home/izmarel/public_html/modules/Private_Messages/index.php on line 1709
What should I do?

have you modified the private messages module at all? also, have you applied the secfixpack3 to Nuke 6.5? If not, do so. It's available in the downloads section.
