I presume when sending a private message, once it is opened on the other side, then it is taken out of my outbox and put in my sent box?

anyway, that's what's going on. the message remains in my outbox. I hope it has been sent and is just waiting to be opened cuz I have found, a few days later that that same message was taken out of the outbox and put in the sent box.

yes, that is how it works. It stays in your Outbox until the recepient READS the Private Message. Then it moves to your Senbox.

Thanks, well that clears that up. I've seen many questions regarding this but never answered.
