To start everything looks okay as far as I can tell here.

Upgraded from 6.0 with BBTONUKE 2.0.6 to 6.5

YES I did backup the database so I can revert if I want.

In your Forum Configuration, make sure this setting is OFF -> Enable GZip Compression
