Apologies in advance for hijacking this thread, but when can we expect to see AS 1.8?
And also, has the directory structure problem been resolved in the new version so that the code to automatically swap folders isn't needed?
The reason I ask is this "hack" causes problems for some modules that "expect" the focus to be in one folder, but due to AS the focus is in the root, causing some weird errors. By "focus" i mean the current working folder as far as the PHP compiler is concerned.
I don't want to have to mod loads of modules to be compatible with AS1.7 only to have to reverse those changes once 1.8 is released. I'm currently working on a new install, on a new version of nuke (based on Nuke 7.6) so this is why I ask.

I have 7.6 installed, and I was having troubles seeing a security code on the registration page, so I thought this might fix it. Everything uploaded and seemed to work fine, until it said to replace the nukefiles (admin, mainfile,...etc..) I backed it up, of course, because the files were for older versions of nuke, and like I thought.. it didn't work.. messed everything up... is it possible this will work with newer admin/mainfile files? Should I try modifying them myself?
Help! I just want to see a security code on nuke, that's all... lol. < I suck. |

Ok, I fixed the security code thing,... turns out I didn't have the jpg in the Your Account folder... anyways, so that's fixed, .. but I've already installed this added security thing on my database, and I think all I need to do is replace those two core files. Do you have them for 7.6 yet? |

Hi folks,
I have a question regarding this Admin Secure.
Is designed to work with nuke 7.1?
Because I have problems with it.
(Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'includes/asfunc.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in) |

Hi there,
Nope I never got to that stage to install that file, as it got stuck on installing the asec_upgrade.php.
I just read the install read me and it says upload asfunc.php on 6, where I am stuck on 3 to execute the asec_upgrade.php. |
