Well, I don't know if you fixed the problem yet? However line 36 has to do with your default config.php, and your database location. If you have changed the path you must edi t the sentinel.php file to reflect it.. Here is a default Sentinel.php fiile line 36

} elseif {
line => 36 require_once ("config.php");
require_once ("db/db.php");
$lang_dir = '"";
}

Ive got a similar error now on my install. But im getting the error on line 46.

Code:
Warning: main(config.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/bkopsnet/public_html/nuke/includes/sentinel.php on line 46

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'config.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/bkopsnet/public_html/nuke/includes/sentinel.php on line 46

Can anyone give me some help finding out what would be causing this or how to fix it please.

Have you moved config.php outside your Nuke root?

I updated from phpnuke 7.6 to phpnuke 7.7 and now im gettin the same error when i try to go the the forums admin:

Warning: main(config.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/www/lg/includes/sentinel.php on line 36

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'config.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php') in /usr/www/lg/includes/sentinel.php on line 36

i hoped someone knows soon whats wrong.

btw i know my config.php file is in the same place it was when i had it running on phpnuke 7.6

I was not the one who installed this back when the site was 7.6 soo i dunno how they installed it but i do know it was workin fine then. Now since the update it gives me that error. I would really just like to completely uninstall it and then reinsall the newest one.. however since I didnt install it I dunno how to uninstall it. Does it created tables on the database? IF soo does anyone know or have instructions on completely removing this thing?
