Two different issue just resolved.

1 - GD and JPG support was enabled but the dreaded red x was appearing in analyzer script.
2 - When clicking on Forum in the Administration screen, a blank page with no errors anywhere.

I replaced the user's config.php with a virgin one and modified the MySQL connection data. It appears his editor was adding a non visible bit/byte here or there. He had used Notepad as his editor on the file. You should make sure that you are using an editor that is made for PHP files and *nix file storage in general. Also beware of your ftp clients. When transferring php files to *nix you should always use a binary transfer.

That didn't work for me. phpnuke7.1 has just lost all the security code images for some reason. I have replaced it with a fresh config, but nada, nothing. Any other hints?
