it seems you have been able to set up newsflash (the scrolling thingy) quite successfully i was wondering if you could tell me how to install it step by step on phpnuke i get the error when i try to enter the newsflash admin cp

It looks like you have an invalid SQL query. Did this code come with tables you were supposed to set up?

The access denied seems to signify a file problem. What version of phpNuke are you using? Patched? What version was this code designed for?

wadda mean by wrong place...anyway i need to run newsflash.sql thru phpmyadmin but i do not know how and most probably screwed up and i m using phpnuke ver 7.5....pls help thx.....newsflash can be dld on nukecops

Yes, if there was an SQL file then you have to install it.

In phpMyAdmin, go to the SQL command. There should be a area to upload a file. Select your .sql file and upload it. You should now have the tables added to your database.

What radmin part? phpNuke 7.5 should not be using any radmin part.

I had newsflash v 2 working fine on my site nuke7.6, I changed to nuke 8.0, the block works but no way to access through ACP, it returns ACCESS DENIED, GO AWAY..
I apprecite any idea! Embarassed
