Use the proper name. By default, phpnuke restrict nickname must be within alphanumerics (a-z, 0-9) characters only. To find out how to modify this restriction, please do search the forum, it was asked many times.

No disrespect madman but I rarely use the search option for the pure reason I don't have the time to trawl through 10 pages of non-wanted posts. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Surely with the know-how this site has between all the moderators somebody must know a way to fix this as it has been mentioned several times in these forums.

( Try doing a search for it ) Wink Wink Wink Wink

I have a good reason to not referring that guy directly to several links in this board. Changing the way nickname filtered in Your_Account module has few big disadvantages especially with unexperienced people. Let me descibe why it is sometimes can causing another problems.

Assuming we modify the code to allow some additional characters to be used in user nickname. Now imagine an URL like this in phpnuke to show user profile:
Code:
http://example.com/modules.php?name=Your_Account&op=userinfo&username=3%am/=130f$0m3n1c&n@m3z

hint:
3%am/=130f$0m3n1c&n@m3z = exampleofsomenicknames

Got my point?

So how about if Iceman35 just overwrites all the original "Your Account" with Approved Manager ??

Then he gets a more fexible registration section ?

Just a thought
