Make sure you completely kill your server, Setup your .ini file as this. You must have the filterdetail lines commented out (at least do this until you figure out what you need in here). You must also have ports open both udp and tcp for whatever port your server is running on.

Does anyone have a working version of this if you don't have direct access to the ventrilo_status file??

blazerboy...had luck with this block working in nuke 7.4?
I get the following error:
Code:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_CONCAT_EQUAL in /home/sbsdf93/public_html/blocks/block-Ventrilo.php on line 499

I'm brining up an old, but great, thread.
I'm still getting the "CVentriloStatus->Request() failed. PHP Unable to start external status process." error.
I know it's more than likely caused because of the path to the ventrilo_status script, but I have changed that path more times than I can count and still nothing.
So, I need more eyes looking at my config
I am renting an Ipower webserver, and the vent server is hosted else where. Ipower runs their webservers on linux boxes. Here's my config settings
$stat = new CVentriloStatus;
$stat->m_cmdprog = "/home/public_html/mypath/modules/ventrilo/ventrilo_status"; // Adjust accordingly.
$stat->m_cmdcode = "2"; // Detail mode.
$stat->m_cmdhost = "myip"; // Assume ventrilo server on same machine.
$stat->m_cmdport = "3784"; // Port to be statused.
$stat->m_cmdpass = ""; // Status password if necessary.
I did read that I had to turn safemode on in my php ini file and point the safe dir to the appropriate directory. Is that what's wrong with it? If it is, I'm screwed because I can't edit php.ini.
Has anyone else got this running with Ipower servers?
Any response would be greatly appreciated.

nvm, download AmericanWaste's. His works like a champ. Thanks bud!
One question. Will this work with ventrilo v2.1? I can't find the intf= settings in the server.ini file. Well, I can find them, but it's not working. I've tested this with 2.2

I know quoting yourself is a forum sin, but I have to so that I can correct my idiot post. It's not AmericansWaste's download.... It's Polaski's download. I need to lay off the crack pipe!
