I have a question about these, is there a particular order they should be installed in?
I installed 76 patched, then Nuke Sentinel 760 and finally BBToNuke211 but I noticed a lot of these replaced similar files. It seems that I would benefit from the changes of all 3, but are they exclusive? If so, what's the work around?
<resolved this part still curious about ^^^^>
Also a quick question regarding .htaccess. I have setup nukesentinel for CGIAuth using .htaccess + .staccess, but when I install the .htaccess it recommends I can't login(tried the case as shown in the .staccess file), the data is in the .staccess file, the files are CHMOD 666
I figured out the pathing problem, but it still won't log me despite the info being in the .staccess file and proper capitalization in the login name. |

If you have latest version ( 2.8 ) of patch series then PHPbb is already included in it so you don't have to install 2.0.11.
If that's not the case, this is how I do it:
Download the core version.
Install the latest patches.
Install Sentinel. |

Actually chatserv said that the Patched files were using 2.0.10.
At this stage, I don't recommend 2.0.11 as there are still some bugs.
I would
apply the Patched files
apply the viewtopic fix manually
apply the Sentinel edits manually |

I installed using the latest files I could find of two days ago (and then I asked this question after the fact of course) and it installed 2.0.10 I just patched it up to 2.0.11. I know it's pretty buggy but I can handle a few fixible bugs over hackers. They drive me nuts.
Thanks for the info! Now I just need to scour the forums looking for any known Nuke 7.6 holes, bugs and tips |

Are we saying that 2.0.10 is less buggy then 2.0.11 or something? I just upgraded to 2.0.11... I hope I dont have to go back for some reason. Could someone enlighten me please?
Thnx! |

The port of 2.0.10 is more stable than 2.0.11 because .11 was re-ported to better fit in the phpBB scheme. Unfortunately it does cause some problems inside phpBB.
At this point, I believe some of them are fixed. It's something to ask chatserv about. If you don't want to worry about it, then stick with 2.0.10 and apply the viewtopic security fix manually. |

Too late ;(. I already upgraded this morning. I'm sure its ok as some of those bugs you speak of are minor, I hope.
I assume there will be a 2.0.12 soon I would imagine? If there is any way that I can help test I would love to do so. |
