Hello,

I have rented an american host, but I live in belgium, and the loading of the pages is slow at the evening, but that isnt the host its fault but the connection through our countries.

Is their any way to boost it up?

Is it possible to put my forum on another host and to load it in another block on my american server? will my users still be logged in? I use phpnuke 7.5

greetings
userke

Well, if its a bad connection, there's nothing you can do on the server side. I would talk to your host and see what kind of connection they have. If its not up to your standards, get another host. I would also do a traceroute (tracert) to see if there's a certain server that is perhaps slowing down your connection.

No, the forums will still need to read from your site's database. This will take even longer, since your forum server will have to access the other server's database to read this data.

I would also apply the correct GZIP compression hack posted somewhere here and that could help with the data transmission also.
