If I use Sentinel on my site, is there any need or additional benefit to using Admin Secure and/or Protector?
I understand that all three contain similar functionality and having 2 different ones will not increase my site's security but might actually even cause problems?
Any advice you can provide on security is welcomed!
Thanks |

Thanks Evaders99 and Getyoursomeofthis. I wouldn't want to see page loads slow. Is there any security hole or vunerablity I will be left open to if I use only Nuke Sentinel? I have that installed already and will just stick with it when it is enough, |

ok i have 7.4 i want to run protector but i am told it doesn't work with 7.4 or 7.5 yet not even the new on also for some reason i cannot get the new sentinel to work on my site sometimes the installer doesn't work or just a ton of errors usually from the header or module sentinel.php file. if anyone knows what versions of admin secure, sentinel, and the protector i can use together on 7.4 please help, also what one needs to be configured first and last |

Well I use Sentinel and Admin Secure and I can tell you there are things that Admin Secure finds before sentinel does and sentinel is the first line of defense and does a good job might I add.
As far as page generation times if you go to the SpeadFreaks Forum here and apply those speed hacks your page gen times will be lower... even with the security programs installed. |
