Hello,
I've developed a web site using php-nuke 6.9 and it works!

In order to get more visibility on the web I've decided to use Google Tap.

But I've got two questions:

1) does Google Tap work for 6.9 version?

2) on my localhost I see link i.e. http://localhost/crashdive/article15.html but when I click on it I've got the following error:

HTTP 400 - Pagina richiesta non valida
Internet Explorer

HTTP 400 - Page requested is not valid

Why?

I've done everything said in the tutorial article?

What can I do as I really need this beautiful tool?

Thanks for help

1) yes
2) Run the Analyzer script and make sure that mod_rewrite is enabled.

Thanks!

btw where can I find Analyzer script?
Sorry but I'm quite new with phpnuke and apache world!!

Just an idea: I've downloaded header.php, foother.php and .htaccess directly from the link in the article: "Google Tap FAQ Apache & IIS" are the files good to use or is there another download point?

Check the front page of this site

I believe those files are based on older versions of phpNuke. You probably want to copy the revelant code to your current files, rather than replacing them. You may lose security and other code changes from the newer files if you just replaced them.

Ok Evaders99,

I've downloaded GT from this link: http://www.nukecops.com/uploads/Audioslaved/GT_Distro_10-22-03.zip

I think this is the last release.
I'll add it to my site in local testing, and if everything ok I'll put it online to continue testing!!!
I also have GT-NExtGeN_Beta_04 (reading forum I've undertood GTNEXT is the future of GT) it' ok?

Just another question:
to make rewrite engine work properly is necessary to add lines in httpd.conf :
LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so
and just few lines below:
AddModule mod_rewrite.c

I've also have the GT-NExtGEn_Mod_Rewrite_Tester but it tells me that rewrite engine is not working on my local host!
Have you any idea of how to start the engine?

Many many many thanks

Andrea

Well I understand it that GT-NextGen is more up-to-date than GoogleTap. But I've not used it myself. Go ahead and see if it works for you.

Yes, you would use those lines in httpd.conf
I believe that's all you need to get it running, but I'm not an expert on servers.

Ok I'll go on using GT_Distro_10-22-03 for the moment!

But now the first goal is to make RewriteEngine working!
This is not easy and, of course I'm not a server expert!!

Thanks for all!
