I downloaded and set up PHPnuke Friday; it went pretty smooth, and I'm very pleased. After creating a test post in a Forum, I can not then access the post. When I select it, I get the following error message:

Parse error: parse error in /home/httpd/vhosts/wecansoar.org/httpdocs/modules/Forums/viewtopic.php on line 1209

I've made no changes to this code.
Thanks for the help!

PHPnuke 6.5
Apache
PHP 4.xx

PHP 4.xx is not really definitive. Please post a link to analyzer. Also please post what line 1209 is in your copy of viewtopic.php.

OK, I installed analyzer here: ---> http:\\www.wecansoar.org\analyze.php

I says that the forum is 2.0.2 and out of date, so I downloaded and installed 2.1. It still says it is 2.0.2 ... ???

Update:
I downloaded the original phpBB code, and FTPed the viewtopic.php from that release. Didn't work too well, as it generated even more errors.

When I FTPed the original phpnuke viewtopic.php back to my site, it started working properly.

Must have been something corrupted in the original transfer.
All's well now!
