Problems staying logged into admin & wrong user login

First off, i have 2 nuke sites on the same host. The main php nuke site (redemusic.com) is running perfectly. The second nuke site(redemusic.com/magic/html) isn't. When i log into the admin.php, it takes me to the admin page, but when i click on preferences or any other section there, it asks me to login to the admin section again. (which keeps happening over and over)...

Also, it shows me logged in as a user (normal user) from the other nuke site (redemusic.com)

Another problem i encountered was that it was giving me a theme error, i edited the header.php file to go directly to the "slash" theme.. it seems to be working alright.

One thing that im not quite sure of...
When i added all the tables in the nuke.sql file to my database, i replaced all cases of "Nuke" with "magic", but i do have it set to use the "magic" prefix... would this have caused any of my problems?

i only have 1 database with my host, so i would like to use the same database for both sites...

i already chmod'd all of the dirs to 777 and files to 666, images were uploaded in binary and all other files in ascii

if i dont manually edit the header.php file to go to my theme, i get this error
