I want to add the web links module in a block. Is this even possible? and I am sorry if this has been covered already but I did a search and didn't find anything.

erm..... why?

You have a few options really. You can either have a block containing an iFrame which opens the web links module inside, or you can just create a block containing any links u wish to have visible to the public

Yeah, I know how to make my own links in a block. But I just wanted it so when people added links to the web links module it would show in a block on the front page. I thought that nsn made one but I didn't find it. So I should do this iframe thingy huh. I will look more into it since I don't know what it is Embarassed.

unless you do this as a center block, it's going to look bad. really really bad.

and iframe is basically a frame with a different call and working method. There's plenty of info if you search on google for it Smile

Here is a block that displays a scrolling list of the links available in your database from the web links module.

Block- Our URL's

Is that more what you were looking for?

Thanks guys for the info. I was thinking of having it as a center block so I guess it wouldn't be a problem. I'll just have to learn about Iframes, which I found a link you had posted before AI. And for you Cyberclark
I tried out that scroll block and it works but it keeps showing all these links to musical artist that are not in my links section. What's up with that?

Not sure never used the block myself just found it via a search. It looks like that has a sql file that inserts links to populate your links tables for you, I guess for testing purposes if you had an empty links section. Nothing says you have to insert that file. Don't insert that sql file into your database and it should show whatever links you already have in there.
