Upon entry of some (not all) Nuke driven sites (obviously running some version of Protector) I get this message ...
"This server does not accept known web page mining tools like Custo. powered whit Protector System"
This is pretty annoying because:
1) I haven't the foggiest idea why this is happening since I don't (knowingly) have tools that "mine" webpages.
2) The word "with" is misspelled every time.
3) This seems to affect Internet Explorer and not Netscape.

I can open with Netscape the same site that I am blocked from in Internet Explorer.

Anyone else notice this? Is there something in Internet Explorer that causes this error? Does this mean that if I block someone with Protector they can still gain access simply by using Netscape?
Hmmm.

Ciao Prophet,

looks like your internet explorer have the 'Custo' word on the user agent info. Maybe some toolbar you have installed.... dont know why but I'm sure that the word 'Custo' is there this is why you are rejected from those sites.

I have no additional toolbars installed for IE. I frequently scan for spyware also. How can I eliminate this problem or see if Custo exists on my system?
... I just ran a search for the word Custo on my system and came up with 288 files. Shocked

I also have a friend that is getting this on my site. he can use Netscape to get to the site, but not IE.
He received a script error like 2 days b4 this started happening and now he cant get back on the site with IE.
Is there a way to say, reinstall IE and test this out?

Raptor1 try to search on your web server access log and see what user agent info your friend is displayng. If there is the word 'Custo' thats the problem and there is a way to fix it.
