Hi all.
If you have an error or a problem, please be sure to include the version of PHP-Nuke that you have installed, and the version of phpBB. This will help the Support Staff identify your issue a lot faster because we won't be having to ask you what versions you are running.
Also, if you would, please be extra descriptive when it comes to the actual error. 'It's broke' doesn't cut it. It would also help to include a link to your site, and to the analyzer if you have run it.
Thanks

Oh, come on Sting, maybe a . . . lit - tle . . . accent?
Recently, I posed a question to Zhen-Xjell relating to giving my thanks to his staff, members, friends and all nuke project contributors.
Instead have decided to add my appreciation on all posts.
Hope you guys, (taking into account male and female) don't mind me giving credit where credit is due.
I just can't say it enough!
You guys are the greatest![/i] |

No it's not a requirement at all, it just comes with PHP-Nuke by default. You can turn it off |

I have an error that I know what needs to be done, but not how to do it.... In the post "Welcome- Read Me First Please" it tells me how to do it... If you read on you will see my error...(This is in another post of mine as well.)
Ok, I have had a lot of help and I have been told that my problem after fixing the big ones is now I need to turn on output_buffering.... I have done the settings needed to mainfile.php, but I DO NOT understand what I must do to my .htaccess file. I do not know/understand how to Create/Add PHP_FLAG output_buffering On to my .htaccess file... Any help will be greatly appreciated..
-Thank you in advance for ANYONE who can help me

Garfuncle originally I had an error where I needed to set up .htaccess or mod my php.ini file after I had done that my forums worked just fine... until I got that same error that you had, what I did is I went to the actual file, and removed the "Second" 'ob_gzhandler' on the line of which it existed, it should be near the top of the file.
Go there and just delete "'ob_gzhandler'"
as of yet I've still not experienced a problem after doing so myself. |

Disabling GZIP in Forum Control Panel will do the trick also. |

the problem is that i had Postnuke it was working fine but i removed it and installed PHPNUKE 7.5
after i created a database in Cpanel and a user and attached that user to the database i entered PHpmyadmin and added the tables refering to the manual, i checked them they are ok
the problem is when i go to http://mywebsite/html/index.php now it gives me this error :
"There seems to be a problem with the MySQL server, sorry for the inconvenience.
We should be back shortly."
With the Postnuke Logo also on the page, it seems like it's refering to the old page even though i deleted all things related to postnuke.
after that i uploaded NUKESQL.php to check what was the error it gave me that "NukeSQL.php and the Connection Test Script managed to connect to the MySQL server but,
the connection to database nuke has FAILED!
Edit config.php and enter the correct value for dbname as no database with the name nuke was found.
Go back.
Warning: mysql_free_result(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/ndu/public_html/html/nukesql.php on line 140
"
so now am really confused.
please if u can help me i would be Greatful.
thank you and sorry for the long post
