So I've been using the Helius theme for a quite a while now, and recently (well, a couple months ago) noticed that one of the tables is mis-aligned at the bottom. This I noticed by visiting other sites with the Helius theme is not a nuke issue, but a Helius issue.

Yesterday I decided to check out HeliusBurgandy and it seems to be aligned correctly. So I figure copying the Helius images to overwrite the HeliusBurgandy images would be a step in the right direction. And also editing the necessary files, starting with the theme.php and style.css files.

I seem to have a few problems at this point:

1. The mouse-over in the forums is still gray

2. The background around the tables is still that dark gray.

3. The background around the entire page is still burgandy.

4. From memory (I'm at work right now), there seem to be more bold items on the site, like the jump menu when selecting the theme, and all the boxes in Your Account section.

5. Also I found that a couple images in the forum FAQ were looking in the HeliusGray for them.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can view the site at http://www.theklings.net. I currently have it setup with the modified HeliusBurgandy theme. The Helius theme is also on there so you can view the forum and see the mis-aligned table.

Thanks for any help/suggestions you can give me.

Murph

2. Solved missing FAQ images...

Will try and continue the other fixes when i'm not drunk. But if you have any suggestions about my site problems, please continue to let me know. Thanks

Update #2

1. Fixed Mouseover, had to edit a number of files in the forums folder.

The burgandy and gray background issues are still there though. Haven't figured that out yet.

This is a known issue on some Nuke sites. Was it only happening in the Forums?
I believe you can fix it with the simple removal of a couple of html tags in the overall_header.tpl file

Wow, fixed

I could swear I checked all those image files, more than once even, but aparently I missed those 2 in the style folder. Anyway, The modification is complete. Now I have a Helius theme where the table is lined up correctly.

Yes it was just in the forum and I believe I did try and mess with the html tabs, but it never came out right for some reason.

Regarding it being a known issue. I posted about it back in March ( http://www.nukecops.com/postlite24742-.html ) when I thought it had to do with my installing the MyCalendar mod, but later found out after numerous clean installs that it was not related to the mod and because other sites had the same problem.

I guess I gave up on asking and decided to make the modification myself with the Burgandy version.

For my information and anyone else who may want the easy fix, Mike, let me know if you found it.

Thanks for the response.

I apoligize Murph.

Here
Open your overall_header.tpl file

remove this from the end

Code:
</td></table>

No more, no less.
You can get a fresh Helius theme pack from the Gallery and apply that change. That will fix you right up. Again, I apoligize. I am in the proecss of updating the Nukemods theme packs now.

No need to apologize. In fact, having to dig into the files a little helps me lean more about php. I'm more of a copy n paste type editor and really would not know, yet, how to start creating from scratch. Thanks for the help you guys have given me, One of the reasons I've been using PHPNuke since March of last year was because of the community support sites (specially this one).

Thanks
Murph
