I noticed a bug (or should I say conflict?)with Fortress today that affects any module that uses input text fields named subject ($subject). This will affect the Newsletter module in that Fortress inserts it's own email subject line despite what is inserted by the user. This also creates a possible inability to update stored information in database rows named subject.
In Fortress, $subject needs to be changed to $fsubject or something that is not likely to conflict with other modules that use $subject.

Interesting,I was just trying to debug an issue with Fortress. For some reason, the Fortess email subject is getting posted as a story title when a story is posted.

I will change the var and post my results....

That was Fortress(T) 1.01 Beta. It was known $subject. The next release of the app is beta 1.20 which has it listed as $mailsubject now. Please upgrade.
