The site was running fine as far as new registration, and now it's not.

The only significant changes I've made since the two periods when testing registration:

Uploaded the Security Fix 3 pack
Modified NewsNuke theme (nothing too major)

When creating a new account, all goes fine until you receive the activation/confirmation email. The link given in the email opens the site again (minus graphics and css, etc). Trying to log in with the nickname and PW provided when signing up doesn't seem to do anything but reload the page.

Running version 6.5.

Here's the URL if you'd like to see what I mean about creating a new account:

k. there doesn't appear to be anything wrong there.

Have you applied any mods at any time?

I have not applied any mods yet at this time, no. I'm not too confident with my PHP yet to do so, so I've been waiting.

I'll try that right now, Mattyb. Not sure why it worked before and now it wouldn't though. Let's hope it works. Smile

UPDATE: Changed the site URL field from http://www.essalieyan.com/index.php to http://www.essalieyan.com. Seems to work now. I'm confused as to why it suddenly stopped working, but eh? Just glad it does now. Thank you all for the help! Very Happy

No problem Because the activation link was going to www.yourdomain.com/index.php/modules/so-on instead of
www.yourdomain.com/modules/so-on

Ahhh, okay. Always good to know the 'whys'. I can't remember what I had input into that field originally, but I know the registration used to work. I don't recall changing it, but who knows. This installation has had me up for the past few days pulling my hair. Wouldn't surprise me if somewhere along the way, in my delirium, I had changed it or something.

Thank you again.
