well guys i am a newbie here just signed up caus ei am trying to get this darn thing to work... this is my problem.
I have a firewall installed on my pc, i am using apache to server my site but.... no one can access my site because my firewall is being such a booger now i have no idea how to fix it or even if i can the only way i know how to is to unplug it which i dont want to do... now if any one knows of software or wants to help me please please please help......... ill even give them honourable mention on my site which i may say is looking mighty fine and once i get this ok of the way will be up and running for the public........thanks a million

What firewall? Are you using a router? Make sure that your router and/or firewall is allowing access through port 80 and that you have Apache listening on port 80. |

ok dude i am not the sharpest tool in the shed lets get that straight first lol..... ok i am using a D-Link DI-804 it s a router with a built in firewall ..ok now that i have that how do i check if i am allowing access through port 80 and how do i change apache to listen to port 80 |

Apache, by default, listens to port 80. Are you hosting this yourself or is it on a host server? As to your router, you will have to consult the manual to see how to set up the ports. |

OK thanks raven for helping me so far i havent gotten it sorted out yet but i am working on it, i am hosting this myself using apache web server and d-link virtual server if i can get it running . i have run in ot a problem of my dad has changed the router password and he cant reember it and i odnt wanna reset it cause last time i did it took me a week to set it correctly well thanks again for the help...
oh by the way if any one knows of where i can get my grubby paws on the statistics block that this site uses theyll be my hero... thanks again raven |

You're welcome. I believe the statistics module is the standard nuke module isn't it? |

no mate at the top of the nukecops page there is a h-link that is called statistics where it gives every detail about os's browsers that the visiter are using and hits per day per month , i cant not find a statisitics block that is as good and detailed as this and i have tried a few actually ... do you know where i can get this block like nuke cops use???? |

if you're talking about our blue menu bar @ the top, it's not available to the public yet cause ZX Hasn't released it yet.

As I said above, that link is the the statistic module from the 6.5 release of Nuke. What else is it that you are after? |

ok mate i gotcha thanks for the help, i was just a little confused cause i have seen a couple sites that have thats statisics module on ,or st a different version of it???? maybe i am wrong by guys you are running a sort after business here even if you arent making money i respect what you are doing here and i commend you on it thanks a million see you in other forums
