Okay...here's my problem...if I log into my site & don't read all of the messages, they'll all be marked as read when I close the browser. Also...If my wife loggs into the site & reads messages, the next time I log in on the same computer, they'll be marked as read. Is there anyway for it to ONLY mark messages that have ACTUALLY been read...like e-mail? |

Uhh How come this didn't work for me.
It was showing unread until I refresh the page, just like described. But now that I did that it never shows unread.
Any variation on the solution

Dear developers,
I have one big problem with posts marked as read.
I tryed all solutions posted in others posts in this forum and the solution posted in this topic and all solutions dont work for me.
Im using PHP-NUKE 7.3 + Patch 2.5 (NukeFixes) + bbtonuke 2.0.8.
This is a very bad bug because users maybe think that my forum is desert and this not is true.
I found some users with this problem too.
Please help all to fix this bug |

I've tried clearing the lines but it still doesn't work. Anyone have any new info for those of us still having this problem? |

gravityarc, what are are you using? I haven't touched one version after 7.4 but have installed few for others.
I'll take a look at it. |

Frmg, please post the link to your site.
Also, a notice to all:
This is not a fix, this is just a way around. I am not sure if this problem was fixed by the phpbb team or not. |

Hi Mesum. I'm using 7.4 with phpBB 2.0.10. I've done some mods, but nothing major.
Thanks in advance. |
