I have already had a few attempts this week but Protector has caught everyone of them.

That is a great program but we shouldn't need it.

If too much of this hacking continues then some hosts may not want nuke sites as they feel their servers are at risk.

Yes, my host has a growing list of scripts he won't allow - not just for security reasons but because they are hogs on shared servers.

I just don't want him to get p*ssed off with nuke.

Viper, that little thing, the mysql.zip..where to put it? there is no readme or enything like that with the download..

Btw, i have Ravens Hack Alert installed, i have the latest Protector, but the server, my host, got hacket true som master files-stuff and no warning/email alert was send to me or enyone else..so, those things does not help in all situasions, true?

Hi Frez,

The download from dgt is a modified mysql.db. You can just use that file itself.

Now, neither of these nor any other patches for nuke can and will prevent the host server from being hacked. That is the responsibility of the host to make sure that there server is locked down and secure. But, however, some of the hacks for nuke can also help the hackers find ways to gain server access, so be sure to maintain all the patches for nuke and do what you can to keep your nuke install secure.

Hope this helps.

Viper

And, just to be sure, the thing i do, and other that want to use that patch, just open phpmyadmin and run it into the database?

I dont understand so mutch about those things behind a site so to put it with a teaspoon would be great. Wink

Thanks.
