Gallery works fine if I point my browser to
http://my-site.com/modules/gallery, but if I enable the module in nuke run sh ./configure run thru the setup, then sh ./secure.sh and click on the gallery link:
I get the following error
Fatal error: Failed opening required 'errors/configure_instructions.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php/:/usr/lib/php/pear/') in /var/www/gallery/errors/unconfigured.php on line 1

And all this tells me is that the error messages can not be opened, and furthermore the eror messages tell me to run sh ./configure run thru the setup, then sh ./secure.sh and click on the gallery link. If anyone has anything for me, I would appriciate it.

Thanks
ikcus

you got the configure to work then?? That's 1 up on me.

Ah well. It's not as if it were important enough for me to care either way for my site. I'm not using Galleries of any description any more cause they're just too much of a pain in hte Rainbow Brite.

The configure works fine and I can use the Gallery flawlessly, but when I activate the Gallery module within nuke and click on the Gallery link from within my nuke site, I get the error..
Go figure?

I'd try using one of the beta builds of 1.3 or at least 1.3 I've never used the bash script but ftp install has worked well for me.

Pardon the newb question:

I just installed Gallery 1.33 just fine as a standalone. I'd rather it be a nuke 6.5 module, though, so users logged onto my site could then upload photos, w/o my having to manage a new Gallery users list.

Any tips or direction?

Thanks,
Oy.

Install it in the modules directory. Do all your setup as normal standalone version. Then when its all running smooth you should be able to activate it as a normal PHPNuke module. Setup the Gallery permissions in gallery admin for ""Registered" then all members will have access to the galleries you give "Registered" permission to upload on.
