Up until now my host has been running php 4.2.3. This weekend they are upgrading to 4.3.1. I have three nuke sites two on 6.0 and one running 6.5 RC 1.
I was just curious is there any known issues or caveats I should be aware of with either version? I remember reading of some issues people had when upgrading php but can't remember what they are and am having trouble finding any real substantial info in my searches?
Thanks in advance for any tips you may have to help me make this transition as seemless as possible for my users!

if ur host is upgrading the PHP version, don't worry about config issues.
The only thing you should be aware of is that unlike PHP-Nuke 6.5 Beta 3 and later, Nuke 6.5 beta 2 and earlier don't like PHP 4.3.x and are prone to kicking up errors.

Thanks AI. And yea I think it was in the early beta's of 6.5 that I saw people getting errors. So with RC1 I should be good, cool. Will keep my fingers crossed
And in 6.0 there is no real issues? Was afraid I might have to upgrade those sites to 6.5 not something I am looking forward to due to the numerous mods I have in my phpbb

Just as a followup, the upgrade did cause a few easily fixed issues on my 6.0 site. Both issues revolved around the LC_Constants variable. Two instances of that caused issues in the Old_stories block and in the mainfile.php. I forget what lines they were on now as I have slept since I made the fix But basically all I had to do was take the variables conditions out of quotes and it seemed to work fine.
I am having some other issues with Gallery 1.3.3 after the upgrade but that is above and beyond nuke so no big deal, I'll have to follow up on thier site to see what the issue is there.
