Just want to get some info in case I'm able to do something like this again. Smile

There was an open bug report filed for the inability to add or edit categories within Topics. I believe I've fixed it as per my post in Bug Fixes. I also made a comment entry after going to bugs.nukecops.com and finding the bug report. I linked to my post in Bug Fixes and gave a VERY brief explaination of where I found the problem to be.

Now I know you don't want cross posting all over the place so my questions are..
Was it appropriate and adequate to post in Bug Fixes forum and also to add the comment to the bug report?
Would you prefer only a single post in Bug Fixes and leave the bug report alone?

I'm not a php wizard and I'm not sure how often I'll actually be able to help, but I want to help correctly so I'm not just making more work for somebody.

Thanks!
