When I wanna edit the front message of my portal for instance, I get a very tiny Edit Message window.
Everywhere else too, btw.
Is there a way to change that?

It's in every window I get, even if its a module, like my calendar one, it will show up in super tiny.

So, to change the front page, what file would it be and what do I look for?

If you are talking about is the Messages block on the index page, look in the admin/modules/messages.php file.
