hi,

i need to modify the Upcoming Events block of nuCalendar, so that instead of showing date/event:

10/6 Boat Race
11/5 Dans Party
12/4 Book Launch

it also shows the PLACE field. eg:

10/6 Boat Race
Downtown Marina
11/5 Dans Party
The Fox and Hounds Pub
12/4 Book Launch
Downtown Bookstore

i realise all that is involved is pulling the place field from the table and displaying it, but i am a newbie to php/sql so i'm struggling a bit.

anyone got any ideas?

Is that field in the database where all you need to do is pull it out?

yeah. thing is, i'm used to ASP, so switching to PHP has got me all confused.

the block in question is the NuCalender block block-upcoming_events.php

this is the part that displays the info:

Code:

. "<font size=1>" . PrintShortEvent($myrow, $ulmonth, $ulday, $ulyear)."</font>

only, to get the location details, $location needs to be pulled from the database too. problem is, the mod is all over the place, so i can't work out where the database calls are actually made from in the first place.

don't worry, its not a major problem, but if anyone could point me on the path i would appreciate it.

thanks

How do you google tap NuCalendar's block-upcoming_events.php? My NuCalendar is tapped and the Month of Events block works tapped too. Is there a way I can tap the Upcoming events block?
