I am trying to assign Moderators to my Forums and I keep recieving this error. I posted this problem before and I though it was solved but it is not. I replaced my nuke_bbauth_access
file and it did not solve the problem . I am transfering my old site to my new nuke site and I need to get this problem solved.

If you are upgrading do not install a new site and then attempt to load old tables on it, instead upgrade the old site, as for the permissions problem this is an old glitch that not everyone seems to get, i can change permissions of any user on my sites but i do know some people get a error when trying to change permissions of a user that already is a member of a usergroup, if that is your case try removing the user from the group, change their permission then re-add them to the group.

I am just changing sites not importing anything from a previous install.
I will give that a try and let you know what happens. I do notice that I have problems with people that are already in groups, so I hope that is the case.... Thank you for the help....

Allright that did not seem to work. I noticed that the name of the person I am trying to change permissions for does not show up. I enter thier name into the box and click on look up user. The screen changes to the permissions screen but the user name is blank. Other names show up and I am able to change their permissions. ANy Idesa???

Try searching for the user with the Find a username option in the permissions window
