Hello,

I was wondering if there's a way or a modification already made to make the STORY URL to consist of it's TITLE instead of it's STORY ID.....?

Example:
modules.php?name= News&file=article&sid=Nuke+Cops+Revolutionalize+The+Game

Instead of:
modules.php?name= News&file=article&sid=1568

Same thing for the forum topics

Example:
modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=Nuke+Cops+Revolutionalize+The+Game

Instead of:
modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=1567

Why would I want this? I think it would help in search engines.. right?

So, what do yall say? Do you think it's possible or already done?

Thanks for your time guys.

Hello Smile

Instead of, for example...

modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=Nuke+Cops+Revolutionalize+The+Game

...open viewtopic.php and find the line that creates the URL. Keep the topic parameter (t) intact as this is required, but try making a new one, example &title=$title.

If you want + in the URL instead of %20, that'll probably require additional code, but that's not something I can figure out off the top of my head.

OR, try looking into GoogleTap, I think that is essentially what you're trying to do.

Regards,
M_M
